Our roast

We started with one drum roaster and a stubborn idea

That coffee should reach you days after roasting, not months, and that you should know the farmer's name. Six years later that idea still runs the place.

What we believe

Great coffee is mostly about not getting in the way

The farmer already did the hard part: the altitude, the shade, the careful picking and the slow drying. Our job is to source those lots honestly, roast them so the flavor shows up, and get the beans to you before the freshness fades. We roast in small batches a few days before shipping, stamp the date on the bag, and never sell coffee we would not pour for ourselves.

We buy direct from farms we have walked, pay above commodity price, and name the origin on every label. No blends hiding tired beans, no warehouse staling, no filler. Just specialty-grade coffee, roasted to order, from people who taste every lot before they buy it.
